Is it possible to import an encrypted private key to install an SSL certificate on Avi Vantage?
Yes, it is possible to import an encrypted private key to install an SSL certificate on Avi Vantage. Password associated with an encrypted private key can be provided using the Key Passphrase option, available on an Avi user interface while creating an SSL certificate. Avi Vantage uses the provided passphrase to decrypt the private key while installing the SSL certificate.
Follow the below steps to validate the key passphrase that was provided during the SSL certificate creation:
- Navigate to Templates>Security>SSL /TLS Certificates. Click Create and choose Application Certificate or Controller Certificate as per the requirement.
- Select Import, choose the Paste text option and paste the key text.
- Click Validate to get the password validated by Avi Vantage.
