End of Support Schedule

Avi Networks (“Avi”) may, at its sole discretion, determine that it will no longer provide maintenance or support for a Licensed Product. Below are the provisions detailing End of Support (EOS).


  • Major Release (Licensed Product): Avi releases an average of 2-3 major software releases per year. A Major Release is indicated the year and version number (e.g., 17.1), or an increase in the first number to the right of the first decimal point in the version number (e.g., from 17.2.).
  • Long-term Support Release (LTS Release): One major release per year
  • Release date: First Customer Ship (FCS) date of a major release
  • End of Support (EOS): Last date for Avi to provide support for the Major Release and its maintenance/patch versions

End of Support

End of Support information shall be communicated to all customers with a current Software Subscription Agreement. Avi Networks will provide support only on current releases of Licensed Product versions, and applicable patches. Avi shall provide support for LTS Releases for 24 months from the Release Date and for Non-LTS Releases, Avi will provide support for 12 months from the Release Date. After the expiration of the End of Support period, Avi may require the customer to update to more recent software versions as a condition of continued support of customer’s equipment.
